Stephanie Villanueva-Villar
Stephanie Villanueva-Villar is a visionary Founder & Executive Director of Your Girl for Good, a non-profit organization based in Washington D.C. that aims to empower young girls of color in STEM by connecting them with accomplished female mentors. Stephanie's unwavering commitment to the cause is reflected in her efforts to create summer mentorship programs, workshops, and summits since 2017, which help young girls realize their potential by connecting them with professional women and exposing them to various career fields, college guidance, and mindfulness practices.

Stephanie's passion for advancing communities of color has also driven her to partner with prestigious organizations such as the Smithsonian, Girls Who Code, the ACLU, Planned Parenthood, and Harvard's Graduate School of Education to develop and implement diversity and inclusion programs that empower marginalized students' voices.

Stephanie is a recent graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University, where she double majored in International Social Justice and Gender, Sexuality, & Women's Studies, with a minor in Political Science. She is a distinguished Vital Voices Fellow, Herlead Ambassador, and
​
RockStar Award Grantee. She currently serves on VCU's Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion advisory board for the Massey Cancer Center, where she shares her insights and perspectives to enhance diversity and inclusion initiatives.

In her free time, Stephanie indulges in her passion for art, perfects her banana bread recipe, and enjoys scenic walks with her Yorkie Terrier, Lucas.
